I've been working in the Air Force for 8 years now, and as a corporate experience it's light on business models and suits, while focusing on integrity and getting things done. So it's been more military (and jet fuel) than truly adding to my business acumen.
But one thing I've had some recent exposure to is data analysis, and I'm looking to get some more education in it. Since I'm not planning on starting yet, I'm going to give a light project here a shot.
I just finished saving the team data, to avoid poisoning from playoff games. Note: Team stats continue to count in the playoffs, so those who want to break the season rushing record...you should make it into the playoffs to increase your games played.
I'll be performing a (probably newbish) trend analysis to answer some simple questions. What sort of offense and defense do the winning teams have?
Anyone with actual data analysis and statistical experience is welcomed (begged!) to critique away.
