Offensive Player of the Week
WR Terrance Williams
6 Catches | 223 Yards (90 YAC) | 3 Touchdowns | 1 Drop
The explosive rookie upstaged his rookie partner in crime, Justin Hunter with a ridiculous 37 yard average on his 6 catches. If this is a sign of things to come for the Chiefs passing attack, look out AFC West. Andrew Luck enjoyed seeing Williams streak past his defender and the two hooked up for 3 of the teams 4 touchdowns on the day. Williams boosted his season total to 5 in just his first to games of an already blossoming GZL career.
Honorable Mention: HB Darren McFadden | HB Michael Bush | QB Boston Mallett | QB Andrew Luck | WR Reuben Randle

Offensive Player of the Week
HB David Wilson
17 Carries | 171 Yards | 2 Touchdowns
A week after the Lions torched the Raiders for 50+ points, the Vikings brought them back to earth with a dominant victory in which the team rode the 2nd year back early and often. Wilson bounced back from the week 1 disaster which saw him garner just 3 yards per carry to posting 10+ yards per touch in this one. The former 4th round pick continues to show his worth in the GZL.
Honorable Mention: QB Sam Bradford | HB Jacquizz Rodgers | HB Beanie Wells | WR Michael Floyd | QB Josh Freeman

Defensive Player of the Week
CB Janoris Jenkins
7 Tackles | 1 Forced Fumble | 1 Interception | 7 Deflections
The defending Super Bowl champion San Diego Chargers were handed their first loss of the season in Week 2, thanks in large part to a huge effort from 2nd year defensive back Janoris Jenkins. He was all over Blaine Gabbert's throws either deflecting them to prevent the completion or tackling with great technique to prevent any further damage (as evidenced by his 7 tackles on 6 catches allowed). The youthful Broncos will need further stellar play from this young pup if they hope to continue down the path of competing for a division title.
Honorable Mention: CB Chris Gamble | CB Cortez Allen | DL Haloti Ngata | DL Vince Wilfork | CB Leodis McKelvin

Defensive Player of the Week
CB Sam Shields
5 Tackles | 2 Interceptions | 1 Deflection
In an early divisional tilt, the Packers upended the Bears in Week 2 picking off Jay Cutler 3 times, 2 of which came from Sam Shields. In a 2 point game, those turnovers turned out to be the difference and the Packers now sit comfortably in first place of the NFC North with the early rivalry victory.
Honorable Mention: LB Sean Wiggins | LB DeMarcus Ware | DL Pierre Allen | CB Aqib Talib | LB Jermaine Cunningham

GZL Rookie of the Week
OT Eric Fisher
15 Pancakes | 0 Sacks Allowed
With all due respect to the day that Terrance Williams had in Kansas City, we'd like to honor another rookie with this selection. This will likely be the case when a rookie wins another award in the same week. The Buffalo Bills are 2-0 and in first place in the tough AFC East. In Week 2 they took down the high-flying offense of the Dallas Cowboys and it was Fisher's manhandling of whoever lined up in front of him that paved the way for Darren McFadden's huge day. The Bills were able to run the ball at will and keep the ball out of Dallas' offense's hands and Fisher looks to be the best of the OL taken in round one this past offseason. Whether that will hold up over the course of the season is a different story, but for now, Fisher and the Bills are taking it in stride.
Honorable Mention: LB Sean Wiggins | SS Robert Lester | QB Geno Smith | SS Bacarri Rambo | HB Dan Dugan

General Manager of the Week
Darryl Breckheimer
The aforementioned Buffalo Bills are rolling along at the start of the 2014 season and their big win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2 show that they can gameplan their way to victories. Focusing on proving that McFadden was a great addition and grinding their way to a win shows that this team will compete even when the RGIII to Robert Woods hookup isn't going off like it can. Breck has brought a new toughness to the Bills and it wouldn't surprise anybody if they stayed this early course and won the AFC East.
